Kayli Liew, Los Alamitos, Sr., G

Liew scored 15 points to reach the 1,000-point milestone for her career in a 72-40 victory against Fountain Valley in the Griffins’ Surf League opener.

Sofi Majidi, Canyon, Sr., G

Majidi sank seven 3-pointers en route to 21 points in a 69-45 victory against Villa Park to help the Comanches win their North Hill League opener. She added 19 points in a 69-62 victory against Silverado at the Norco Showcase.

Maria Mejia, Orangewood Academy, Jr., F

Mejia recorded 18 points, nine rebounds and six assists in a 64-60 victory against Fairmont Prep as the Spartans improved to 2-0 in the San Joaquin League.
